Tyler Russell went 19 of 24 passing for 286 yards and two touchdowns against Oak Grove tonight. He is 102 of 147 for 1,580 yards on the year as of right now.

.......again that I'm amazed he's not getting a flood of offers. His stats, as well as his height, strong arm, and frame all make him look like a potential big-time college QB. I'm even starting to see Jason Campbell comparisons, which makes one think Russell could possibly be a pro QB one day. What a shame he's going to MSU........for him, I mean.</p>

Other schools know that he is solidly committed to us and don't think they could change his mind. While schools will go after somebody else's commitment in a heartbeat if they think they have a chance to get him, they don't generally waste their time if there's very little chance of getting him.</p>
