they also got hosed by the replay. The first down at the beginning of the game was not given to Bama becasue the "replay was not operational" at that time. What the hell does that even mean? This of course wasn't as crucial in the game, but its still embarassing in my opinion. How hard is it to have a TV set up in the booth? Just put a freaking flat screen in there with DVR hooked up.

is every bit as legit as Urban Meyer's "fine". The SEC has heard the critics. So, what do they do to give themselves some ammunition? How about a "fine" to one ofthe school's HC's that you are trying to protect and then a "bad call" not going the other school's way" in the first quarter, when it is least likely to hurt the team that you are trying to protect?
