Let's say you have a player like Cam Newton, Tim Tebow, Reggie Bush, etc. that you just know is going to be the difference between having an 8-4ish season and making a run at the National Championship. If you knew, or even suspected, that there might be some shady dealings ($$$) to get the player, would you still play them? At best nothing comes to light and you win the NC. At worst you win the NC and after the NCAA drags its feet for a few months you 'vacate' the wins... oh noes. So...
