...we played Zombie Nation entirely too much. Great stadium songs are only great when people anticipate hearing it, fell pumped up that its playing, and timed with the moment in the game - rock the freakin house.

But we played Zombie too much and it was losing its effect......for the 5% of the stadium that knows what its about.

And Bully's giant cowbell was a white garbage can with a broomstick on it. http://www.snapitinmaroon...#id=album-23&num=418

are those 6 to 8 ft wide greyish things on the ground made of cement called sidewalks or sidestands? I always thought they were intended as a walking surface to move pedestrians in an orderly way but it appears its for people to stand and block forward movement while they dry hump someone they havent seen in a few years. It's rule 17ing crazy. With the amount of people attending these games, fans are going to have to realize they need to get the hell out of the way and allow some traffic to flow.

Am I the only one that is complaining about this?

... but it was the "In the Mood"/Chubby Checker remix... You know, so they could get some of that music the students are listening to these days. They do still listen to "The Twist" right?

Prior to the game, or maybe at the begginning, we played "This could be the night". I'm guessing at the title there. Semi-current pop hit song.

After the game was out of hand and it was clear we couldn't come back, "Tricky" by Run DMC.

....is that they've fenced off that parking lot next to the field house, forcing me to have to walk down that sidewalk and feel like herded cattle just to get from the field house to Gate 1.

...at the right time, it can get you going. After the runback the west-side upperdeck in student overflow was rocking so hard it was actually moving beneath our feet. My wife thought it was going to collapse. It was incredible.

I haven't lost my voice and walked away with so many bell-blisters since 98 Arkansas.

Also, my bell, my wife's bell, and two bells around me lost their clangers during the game. Skydeck was raging all night.

Well done.

By the way, I found a place that will sell replacement clangers if you call them and ask - http://www.bell-outlet.com/cowbells.htm I bought 5 for 75 cents each.

I was about to start a thread about this.

My 12 year old one finally broke and cracked. To be expected I guess so I bought a new one from the Lodge and one for my wife.

The large and small ones are the same old style, but the medium (most common) sized ones are new "made in china" pieces of garbage that are thin and the weights broke halfway through the game for me, and within five minutes for my wife. Garbage. I stuck a house key on mine and kept going, but those things are crap. I'll just fix my old ones or buy them elsewhere before I grab another one of the new Lodge styles.

Just called them. Denied. Guess I talked to the wrong person. I'll go with the socket solution.
