Bobby Wallace still coaches there right? Obviously he's the reason for their turnaround.

he's at West Alabama now. He did get UWA to the Division II playoffs where they lost their first round game.

Instead of having to play a BCS schedule, they can play an independent's schedule.

and into the MAC. They're practically in I-AA now. Hell, one of their 2 losses is actually to a I-AA team, albeit a damn good I-AA team.

I've got two friends that work with two Division II football teams - one won and one lost. I got them mixed up in my head.

that's actually not true. They were voted out of the Big East after he had been there 2 years due to lack of attendance and no control of their stadium. At the time they were playing at Veteran's Stadium and would have to move to Penn Stadium when the Phillies were in town. The Big East did not like having to play games at Penn Stadium so they got the boot. They were allowed to stay in the conference for like 3 or 4 years after they were voted out and they came very close to ending the football program as their school president wasn't on board with having a D-1 football program. He was replaced and they joined the MAC after Wallace stepped down.
