You can thank Russell for just about all of it. We have no vertical threat and our yardage after the catch is pretty much non existent because we can not get separation. We are simply better than what we have seen in years past but still average.

Like I said in another thread, Rumph is a nice prospect but he is definitely not a C. Patterson type prospect. I saw everyone game but one of his last year, and he has fantastic size but his hands are inconsistent. Even last night, while he had a good game, he dropped a couple that hit him right in the numbers. He's not really a blazer but he has enough speed. He's a legitimate red zone threat.

And I guarantee if you asked Russell he will tell you to thank his receivers...

I don't care how good of a QB you have, if you don't have a line to give them time and receivers to get open and catch the ball, then they won't amount to ****. But keep telling our receivers they are average because they feed off ignorant people like yourself. And if we weren't getting separation, we wouldn't have Bump and Clark avg 16 yards a catch. We avg. 13.2 yards per catch so we have to be getting some kind of separation. UT with their great receivers avg. 13.3 yards per catch.

Ignorant...if Russell had UTs receivers that average would be higher, period. How you can actually think that an SEC group of wr that does not have a deep threat and gets no yardage after the catch is above average is beyond me. What we do get is pretty much all Russell. Sorry, but catching the damn ball as an SEC wr is expected...

Yes you are 17ing ignorant. you spew your **** without any evidence or proof. You say if Russell had UT's receivers he would have a higher avg? Well here you go dumb17.

Bray has thrown 35 more passes than Russell. Bray has completed 37 passes to his WR's for more than 15 yards. He has completed 15 passes to his WR's for 20 yards or more and he has completed 5 passes for over 30 yards with his longest completion of 72 yards.

Russell has completed 30 passes to his WR's for more than 15 yards. He has completed 19 passes to his WR's for 20 yards or more and he has completed 5 passes for 30 yards or more with his longest being 72 yards.

So see dumbass Russell has completed 7 less passes than Bray for over 15 yards but has completed 4 more passes than Bray for over 20 yards and they have completed the same amount of passes for over 30 yards in 35 less attempts. And 11 of Brays came against Georgia St. Not bad for a bunch of "average" receivers....

we are very behind y'all and UT on Rumph. A few weeks ago I think UT was leading, but you got to believe with their coaching staff and last week's game that you guys are in the driver's seat. He's not a burner, but you have to love his size and he has very sure hands. We really really want him now that Leslie is having grade problems, but it looks like we are out of the picture as of now.

So, y'all really want Rumph because a guy committed to LSU is having grade problems? Makes sense.

Wow...stop and count to ten. All our receivers are doing is catching the ball. Something most expect SEC wr to do, correct. Again, no yards after the catch keeps Russells avg down even more than it would be. He had been on fire with his placement...which is good since most of the time, the defender is very close. Russell does all this without a legit deep threat. All you stats do for me is tell me what a good job Russell is doing. Average at best...

He's one of the most important.....

...up there with QB. I hope Mullen and Co. know the danger associated with Cord Sandberg and the MLB draft. Hopefully we can flip Dobbs.

Translation. If we have him or want him he's all world. If not then he's overrated. Just read how this idiot defends Brassell in the other thread while trashing Rumph in this thread.

I'm not trashing Rumph. I just said he isn't Cordarrelle Patterson. I still want him at Ole Miss for all of the previous reasons I stated. But yes, read how I, along with several of your brethren, defend our excitement for having Brassell back.
