In regards to the 2015 VHSL Master Schedule

Any estimate on when it may be coming out? I know in a typical year, it would be within the next week or so.

Only LCA joining the VHSL but all of the privates now have to be classified so that points can be awarded as the public schools play them (10-20 games per year, on average, I believe)

I was informed the schedules this year will be released the first week in August.

I don't guess there is anyway to know this, but I wonder how many schools do not have their schedules set by now? I guess there must be a few. I wonder what the reason would be this late. Maybe they have a game to fill and are waiting to hear from an out of state school?

Just curious.

They can't put the master schedule together until the schools finalize their schedules. Most schools have known their general schedule (week in which they play what opponent and where) for a while but some schools share a city stadium. In the Peninsula District we may play a game on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday and that is determined by the people who run the stadium.

Set??? Schools are required to submit their scheds in May or be fined. Most were set by March.
The master used to come out around June 10th, until about 3 years ago.
