To that I say-

The entire video was evidence of the feelings and actions of Ole Miss people- the videotape doesn't lie
Also, there is only ONE university in Mississippi that is associated with Colonel Reb, Dixie, the KKK, and The South Shall Rise Again...and that university always talks about holding onto and embracing it's heritage. That doesn't qualify as "Progressive"

This is what they don't get. Of course there are racists on every campus whether it be in Mississippi or Alaska. The difference is that no other institution in the country promoted and profited from old south imagery and thinly veiled symbols of racism than the University of Mississippi. This is a school that sold Confederate flags for their fans to wave at games until the mid-nineties. Even then their fans had to be dragged kicking and screaming from doing so with a "stick ban." Thier marching band used to wear reproductions of actual Confederate army uniforms. What fanbase thinks to shout "The South Will Rise Again" at the end of a song if their intention isn't racism? The University now has to deal with these issues and these types of people because for so long they encouraged that behavior.<div><div><div>

I'm not saying that YouTube videos never causes any type of investigations, but when you see the amount of mudslinging videos on YouTube and compare them to the ones that actually got looked into it, the chances of that happening is very slim. If that's the case, then all of the negative videos made by Auburn fans towards Bama would have gotten either Bama or both of them in some major trouble by now. This isn't something new. As far as the NCAAs are concerned, at this point it's justheresy unless a fan(s) happens to find some majorincriminatingevidence (which is possible) to force the hands of those higher up. Second, what does the video "report" them for? It's not the same as what they did in 2001.

Third, it will end badly because only bad **** can come from mudslinging. Do you keep up with politics? By the end ofa campaign you feel like you're choosing between piles of **** to determine which one stinks less.(State and TSUN will both end up being piles of **** in this scenario.)
