I would seriously doubt Driver's decision-making if he watches how we use TEs this year and still goes to that dusty, scrubby, last-in-every-national-category state.

Only reason I can see for him to not go here is that he's chasing a bag that we can't match. Doubt we can't match it after this year, but still... Does that bag preclude developing in a competent offense?

To a kid, it might, but NFL money is better than anything he'll see in college. Surely, someone in his circle is telling him that.

To me this is 2 fold. 1) We've all seen the spending projections. J Batt need to find a way for UK be spending at least $35m-40m range on just football if they truly want to elevate this program, and that needs to happen immediately. 2) Stein needs to keep winning.

The level of excitement around the program right now is palpable. Hopefully the administration recognizes the moment and capitalizes this time. Barnhart absolutely missed his chance to do so in 2021.

Stoops made the state of Ohio part of our recruiting footprint, and Stein is doing the same. We're not going to out-recruit Ohio State up there, but I think we out-recruit anyone else in the two states, and that gives us a good foundation to build on, especially with the portal. As some have said, if they leave the State we have a home they can come back too.
