....it's like a bomb hit Ole Miss land. There's been a stunning absence of Bruiser and others coming over here to help analyze the rest of our schedule and tell us what went wrong. I really don't understand it, except that they apparently thought that they were seriously good. It shouldn't be too big of a blow, though, coming off of the last four years. Vandy is not a bad team, and it took extreme screwups by the home team to lose to them. Sometimes, 6 turnovers happen. Ask us. It's almost as if losing to Vandy was their "Maine," and they are ready to turn on their vaunted coach.

They're last in the SEC in both total offense and total defense. They've gotten to 4-0 the same way we got to 8-5 last year. With smoke and mirrors. Looking at the rest of their schedule, I only see 2 more wins for them and I'm not even convinced that their road game at MSU is a sure win. It wouldn't shock me to see them go from 4-0 to 5-7 this season.

about Vandy. They aren't very good. Our ****** D held them at like 200 yards.

It kills our season. Six turnovers.

We both agreed it was a huge loss for you and a game you should have won. You now have no margin for error if you want to make a bowl game. You're 2-2 with 4 pretty much guaranteed losses remaining. You have to win all of the realisically winnable games left on your schedule to get to 6-6.

they have alot of players with physical talent, but also alot of players with very little mental talent. Combine that with nutt's ability to look like a genius one minute and a retard the next and you have a recipe for quite a bit of inconsistency.

Why were there 10,000 empty seats at Vaught Hemmingway? I had heard here in Jackson radio that they were expecting a huge, near sell out crowd for their SEC opener. I saw the announced attendance around 51,000 and I believe VH holds 61,000 and change.

to them that they are capable of losing to an SEC team. And you are probably right about Vandy, but they are still not what Vandy used to be. And for what it was worth Saturday, they were undefeated and looked pretty damn good in dismantling South Carolina. Now they are ranked.

I'm not going to go into comparing anything. We flat out suck right now. If Crxxm ever pulls one out of his *** again. Nows the time. We got 8 games left and we are no where near what we anticipated. Ole Miss right now looks pretty damn good and even if they are 2-2 I fear Vandy and Ole Miss will get the best of us before the years up. If Crxxm can't get that fire burning on offense he is not going to get us anywhere in these next 8 games. If our offense begins to click and begins to score Crxxm can restore the confidence in the defense, the fans, and in the public. Otherwise I'm not putting anyone in the same stable as us when it comes to who is bad and who is not in football. Because right now we are the only team in the SEC that can represent the lowest of lows in football *(I would include Arkansas but everyone anticipated them to be down this year. As for us we were supposed to continue last years success and our schedule is as easy as it gets for the next few years. Hell we got one scary home schedule next year that I was originally excited about, but now it doesn't look so bright anymore.)* We flat out are bad right now and it shows in the effort on the field and the effort in the coaching.

no mental talent category. I really can't fault the coaches, our D played great, and we racked up plenty of offense. This one is all on the players.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda

To this point, I would trade our season for theirs. They have no reason to be upset with the way things are going.

last in the sec in offense and defense and they have yet to play anyone from the sec but OM and USC. We have excuses for everything: the stadium wasn't full because we expected a lot more vandy fans to be there. We are the better team because we turned the ball over six times. This was the lynch pin game of the season and the most important to the program in five years. Our recruiting does not look good but we don't follow stars at OM so we will wait and see four years from now before we give you an opinion.

If you had watched the game you would understand the angst amoung our fanbase. We thought we were good? Who told you that? All those fans trying to figure a way we might squeak out 6-7 wins?

Vandy sucks *** and we played possibly the most frustrating game I have seen in 5 years. Glad you care though.

until we fumbled into the end zone with a little over a minute to go. We stacked the line of scrimmage to try and stop the run and they broke two runs for a total of 62 yards after that but through 59 minutes they had 140 yards. The thing about Vandy is that they didn't make many mistakes. They had a fumble and 20 yards in penalites whereas we had 4 int's, a fumble and 82 yards in penalties. It didn't help that we got stuffed on 4th and 1 at the goal and fumbled into the endzone on another drive. Twice inside the one yard line and no points is hard to overcome.

they always give OM fits, and they've beaten OM 3 of the last 4 years (as well as beating Ga, etc). but it was certainly a game OM needed to win, and one which most OM fans expected to win. 6 TO's = a loss to pretty much any team.

the gameplans have been good on both sides of the ball. aGAIN, when you turn the ball over 6 times, and repeatedly in the redzone, you're not going to win.
