I was at the game Saturday and the atmosphere was really great. The game as really exciting unfortunately we lost. Since the game I have been in Bloomington, Waterloo, IL and now Chicago. During conversations I would mention to people I am from Louisville and they all would say what a great game that was. They all thought it was a lot of excitement and thought Louisville even though we lost looked really good. Nobody mentioned the defensive struggles by both teams just the offensive production.

I view this season as a lost opportunity. I think they added really good players. The problem is the schedule got them. There are zero easy games. Every game is a 1 score spread. They been incredibly unlucky with key calls on the field being incorrectly overturned. They have made bad in game decisions and in play calling.
The preseason hype on the defense has led to fans being extremely disappointed because now we lost trust in the coaching staff on that side of the ball. Performance is one thing but when coaches tell how strong they are and it is the opposite that only makes it worse.
It is still an entertaining product. The Miami game was a fun game to watch.
