In Veazey's article on Cohen there's a reference to this ...

He has plans to purchase an intricate computer program that will help evaluate pitchers and hitters.
How do we find out whether, and, if so, how we can contribute specifically to that purchase?

I would dump serious coin on it; however, I ain't giving **** if even ONE F'N PENNY could be diverted to that MFer crooked hat wearing piece of ****.

and let him know. Or give a donation to the dugout club - I am sure that money would be used for a project such as this.

you have no interest in your money going to our football program as long as the walrus is coach.

ridgeland high school had a computer video program that broke down swings frame by frame. it was pretty cool. the players loved it and it helped fine-tune hitting mechanics. i'm sure fred mcgriff approves.

i wonder how many colleges already have this and for how long.

PGM's equipment for some of the stuff he wants to do. They have a new room downstairs in McCool that has all kinds of bells in whistles when it comes to swing mechanics and filming (i have never used it but i have heard some good things about it).

Any of you golfers know about it?

competence. Thy name is Cohen.

Look at this **** from the article in the CL......

<p style="font-weight: bold;">But Cohen's desire to play a more modern style of baseball is manifest off the field, too.</p> <p style="font-weight: bold;">"He's willing to push the envelope for things he thinks will benefit the program," said Mike Nemeth, the associate athletic director who oversees baseball. "John has opened our eyes a little bit around here about maybe how some of the other schools in the conference have caught up to Mississippi State."</p>
Herein lies the problem thru the years with the State Athletic Dept. They know no way except the same ole State way.

Maybe The Tickler is right.

Dopeheads and F*@k ups.

<div> Thank you for taking the time to write. We have the funds necessary for the computer program you referenced. </div> <div> </div>GB
So, I guess there's no need for me to contribute to the baseball program.

And, he properly ignored my snarky-ness about the "train wreck that is MState football," and my empty threat to withhold all support of the alleged football program "until Croom is gone."

I like Byrne. I think he'll do the right thing.

I think it was a more of a, "I'm not going to lie to you and say your donation will go toward one specific thing and then spend it on something else" letter.

I asked for assurances that not ONE F'N CENT would go to support that MFer wearing the Shoneys menu on his forearm.

With what you've posted, if I received that from Byrne, I'm reading it as, "We have what we need for the baseball purchase already." In other words, thanks, but if you send me your money, I'm going to spend it somewhere else.

When I make a specific request that it is spent in program A, and NOT on any other program, and he writes back that program A is funded, then what am I to do other than sit on it? He didn't give you any assurances that it <span style="text-decoration:underline">wouldn't</span> go to the football program? I don't understand this.

How hard is it to tell someone that you still need their money if they are offering it? Am I reading too much into this?

Shmuley - As an alternative, I solemnly SWEAR that if you send me a large amount of cash, NOT ONE PENNY will go to the MSU football program. PM me for contact and deposit details.
