What do you detest most about the game day experience? I would rather they turned off the sound and focused the video on replays. Their "features" detract from the atmosphere.

Way too many of the same commercials, over and over. Too many reviews of obvious plays. It's like officials are afraid to make calls, anymore. Both drag the game out and disrupt the momentum. Seems like it gets worse every year.

It does bother me. I liked it in the nineties when they would roll a Agri spot during a timeout . The current atmosphere sorta cheapens it for me. It is like going to a Kentucky or Iowa State game. I still go. not a game changer but I like crowd noise more than speaker noise.

Money makes the world go around. Ads have always been annoying and yet they always have an impact on sales.

Now, if the ads were so annoying that people would be willing to fork over another $25 per person to shut them down, I imagine that would cover the money the University gets from sponsorship.

Not long after you did that, someone would soon realize they can get yet another $25 per person to run those ads.. It reminds me of cable tv in the very beginning. People were promised no ads for paid tv. It didn't take long for that to get polluted either.

The TV is the problem here, the stadium is hostage to TV timeouts, and every game is televised now. They'd be stupid not to make some money selling in-stadium ads during that time.
