Dillon Day started the game against LSU. Day played every play at Center until the 4th Quarter when Beckwith went down. I know the video screen named Dylan Holley as the starter against LSU, but he did not come in until the 4th quarter when Day switched to Guard due to the injury. Holley did start against Troy because of Day's suspension (maybe they were using Troy's starting lineup on the big screen because they were more focused on not naming the QB).
I'm really not sure why I am seeing all of these articles stating that Holley has started two games (Troy and LSU) and that Holley has replaced Day as the starter at Center unless it is just a mistake coming from the Media Department.
The participation list shows that Day started vs LSU.

Is it common for our reporters to make mistakes like this? I think every article that I have seen has reported that Holley earned the starting spot over Day when to my understanding that is incorrect.
Do these reporters just take what comes from the media department and run with it or do they actually watch the games?
