I looked at some of Gary's replays and here's what I found:

Bama has an offside call on the previous play. No wonder Malone was a little anxious on first down.



Here's a shot at the free ride in the endzone two plays later.





Can't beat the team, coach, crowd, and the refs. Hope State gets to play them with some non-SEC refs.

You can line up offsides in college as long as you aren't offside when the ball is snapped. That's why centers are taught to recognize it and quickly snap the ball. He backed up before the ball was snapped. A still picture doesn't really prove anything here other than sometime before the snap, he was lined up offside... This grand bama ref conspiracy is getting stupid...

After that play I was loudly complaining about Bear getting tackled, and the Bama fan next to me started laughing. I asked if he saw it and he said "yeah, but do you know where you are? Y'all ain't getting that call."

A false start when the other team crosses the line of scrimmage is encroachment. Should have been offside on Bama

Just looked at these plays (dvr'd the game):
- On the offsides, the Bama player was backing up to get onsides and was probably still offsides when Malone flinched. I don't know if that matters.
- There were 12 seconds on the clock before the play with the missed interference. If you remember, this play was pretty slow to develop with Dak running to the line and then making an awkward throw. There were 6 seconds on the clock after the play so the slow developing play took 6 seconds. Not sure if we would have run a play with it being 1st and goal on the 1 yard line and 6 seconds on the clock. There would have been plenty of time, though, for at least a quick pass attempt.

By the way, I don't subscribe to the conspiracy theory--the pass interference was just missed in my opinion AND MISSED BADLY. Concerning the overturned fumble, I think it just brings into question the integrity of the replay process and the replay official should be questioned about the basis for the overturn.

Bottom line is we took WAY too damn long to snap the ball. I was screaming at my TV for Dillon to snap the ***damn ball.

Plain and simple, you aren't going to get questionable calls on the home field of a perenial power. You want to win this game? You don't throw 3 interceptions, you don't give up safeties on poor decisions, you don't punt poorly and give up field position, you don't drop passes, you don't jump offsides at the 1 and you simply don't turn the ball over in the red zone. Ask Auburn fans how complaining about officiating turns out

I don't 17'n care, it's done, there are plays like this in every game/

People have been giving DRT **** for being right. 17 the refs, we've proved we are a top 4 team. Let's just win the whole ******* thing and leave the bitching to others. Seriously we can do this, 17 the whining.

Jesus some of you sound like the Auburn fans we were all making fun of after they lost to us and whined about the refs. Just let it go. There are bad calls made in every game. Doesn't mean there's some giant conspiracy against us, just that refs are human and will miss some calls. This whining about the refs is beyond old and getting downright pathetic.

No conspiracy theory here but changed the game

If you don't understand that 1st and goal from the 5 is worse than the one foot line, then I can't help you.

A play can be run in 5 seconds seeing how the last play took 6 with the clock operator running off extra time.
