One of my neighbors is pediatrician and told my wife about this site from Children's Health in Dallas. It's one of the largest pediatric health providers in the country. I know its not on Facebook, but it feels legit to me.**

The link below is to their back to to school guidance page. It let's you know the risk from low, moderate, to high on sending your kids back to school based on their medical conditions (or others in the home) and medications. It covers hundreds of conditions and medications and is pretty informative. For instance if you have a child or member of the household taking Prednisone for adrenal insufficiency they would be at low risk, but if they are on Prednisone for any other reason it would make it moderate or high risk.

We were interested because we are keeping both of ours home because one has BPD and the doctors told us to. In this guide, it put his condition in the moderate-stay home category. Anyhow, this covers a lot of ground and I thought it might help someone feel more comfortable about a potentially tough decision.
