Anybody have any to add. 2-4 now in the Big 10 holding their own through the first 6 with a brutal 7 game stretch upcoming. Some signs emerging on how to do it.
  • Francis 35 plus minutes and 25 plus points
  • Secondary complimentary player like a Buchahan or Grant having double double
  • Guard stepping up with buckets when needed. J Mike tonight, Powers at times the past RAC games. Lino Mark vs Oregon.
  • finding ways to win beyong fg whether that be limiting turnovers like tonight or causing turnovers and turning them into points like vs Oregon. Also would include drawing fouls an getting to free throw line especially late in game
  • Pike feel for the game and riding lineups that are working. Starting to do this the last 3 games at the RAC
  • Playing opponents with limited offensive options. Lets be honest Northwestern and Oregon are not the most efficient offensive minded opponents with a vareity of options. A good D like RU has played the last 2 can thwart teams like this.
  • Overtime! Well not really but there is something to be said for RU now figuring out to win in close games and having a dynamic player like Francis you can go to in the late moments.
  • score over 70 points. Rutgers is 8-1 when they score over 70 point this year.
  • Playing at the RAC....RU has played like *** away from the RAC except for that one win in Vegas.

Which team out of the next seven do you feel like Rutgers matches up best against?
Which team out of the next seven do you feel like Rutgers matches up best against?
none really. I think Rutgers has struggled against any team with multiple scoring options. Indiana at home might be our best shot because of the RAC factor and RU just owning them for some reason. I have not seen them alot this year but they were up big on undefeated Nebraska before blowing it. RU doesnt do well vs 3 point shooting teams and seeing Wisky success vs Michigan doesnt make me feel good but we have a week to prepare. West coast trip will be difficult because of the travel. I think UCLA is a shot at a win moreso than USC.

Powers has shown to be a good "disher" , would like to see the offense with him at the point every now and then
