as a defensive replacement but I don't recall him doing that the last couple of games this weekend? How "tweaked" is his quad? I guess we shall see how Woodruff is tomorrow and then there's Renfroe? Sat out yesterday but Cohen said that we would know more about it today. He did have a brace on.

I think Renfroe took a ball off the hand. Xrays expected today, but isn't expected to be anything big. I think he'll sit otu these midweek games, and return this weekdn, but until the Xrays we wont know for sure.

Not 100% on Rae. Todd said theother day it was a quad, but I've never heard that specifically, but always heard a leg.

We'll be very cautious with both.

Agreed, and the great thing is that we finally have the depth and talent to be cautious. Look at how the playing time of Fullerton and Frost has been cut from last year. It shows the difference in talent and depth from last year to this year. Cohen was able to rest Rea and Renfroe because he had capable people to slide into their slot while they heal.

Don't be surprised if you don't see Rea until SEC play starts.

He could be back before, but I heard it's not likely.

Really the most amazing thing to me about this team is that we may not be the most talented team in the SEC when we just throw our top 9 out there to play but we just have a LOT of players very much capable of playing SEC baseball without much dropoff when the starter is not available. Even on our best teams during our best glory days I don't remember us having that kind of depth on a team. Our 89 team was reasonably deep but nothing like this team.

I said this after it happened and no one responded so I'm not sure, but on the play where he struck out but reached first on a wild pitch, it looked like he came up a little gimpy crossing first. May not be that however.
