Watching DP on the sideline today, I did not see him moving that left arm at all. It was limp by his side every time I saw him. I have a feeling he may be finished for the year.

I heard today he may be done with ball forever. Anyone else hear that?

I sure hope that's not true, for both State and DP.

SEC should mandate that all SEC games be played on PAT. These plastic fields cause way too many injuries because they don't provide the same bounce as real turf. Bumphis in '10 at Ole Miss. Probably numerous others since then. Then Ross this game and LP's ribs today all victims of that cheap-*** crap.

It's nerve damage, but his motor function is returning (meaning he is regaining the ability to move his arm as normal), just slowly. Highly doubt he is done forever

Maybe he wouldn't have broken it if he had caught the ball that hit him in the hands.

There's this message board called sixpackspeak.

Typically what happens is someone mentions it here, people read that and pass it along to friends & co-workers, eventually it gets around to another SPSer who says "that's exactly what I read on SPS so it must be true" and proceeds to also post what he's "hearing"

I know you weren't directing this at me, but I'm not speculating. It is nerve damage. That said, still expect him to be ready for bowl game.
