On assistant coaches for their info. I would guess other insiders on this board probably had the same sources which may
Explain this cluster17 of bad inside info. I will say my two guys have not come up with much during this search but both thought Drew was a done deal this afternoon. Starting to look like loafers is either a genius or an idiot.

the house on the Dooley information that I released this past weekend, that's how confident I was in the information. I got word of Drew at lunch today and then all of a sudden that has fallen through. I would argue that this search is turning into a cluster17 more so than the names mentioned on here the last few days.

that Scott may be trying to take the program in a different direction and is putting one especially tough condition on the new coach. The condition I hear is to get out<div>of the AAU recruiting business. Have any of you other blokes heard this and do you think this could possibly be true? I mean that is way just about every major program recruits and</div><div>we all know it is dirty as hell but it is the law of the land right now. If we go this way we could be in for some tough times, if true.</div>

Scott is a man of integrity. But another question, I'm not totally familiar with the ins and puts of AAU ball. Could you explain more in-depth please?

great high school players are involved in it much like select soccer for the game of soccer. The coaches or sponsors of these AAU teams usually have a strong hand<div>in guiding players to different programs. Big programs seek to gain favor with these sponsors to insure their pipeline is filled so I think you can connect the dots.</div>

Player A plays for an AAU team which is sponsored by shoe company X. Shoe company X keeps the player and the team supplied with gear and greases the coach. Then when it comes time to pick a school, the coach/handler helps the player looks for teams who are also sponsored by shoe company X.

Strick isn't an idiot. He knows the game. Unless he plans on moving us to the Horizon League, he's not demanding coaches to recruit cleanly. Its not even an option for sec teams.

He is definitely wanting to steer away from that- but the question I'd like to ask him is this- what basketball player worth a **** doesnt play AAU ball nowadays????

that line of thinking. That's near suicidal. We'll reachpost-McKeen levels of regret if it's true.
