Insignficant note from Brandt article in CL

UM tight end Ferbia Allen sat out for most of Wednesday's practice after getting stung by a wasp. He couldn't put a helmet on.

That's weaker than minnow piss.

If it was because it "hurt" to do so- then yes. If it's because his head and neck swelled up due to an allergic reaction- no.

but shouldn't he have gone to the hospital if that was the case. I have been stung by many a wasp, but am not allergic, so I don't know. I just thought it was a weird note at the bottom of the article.

my Mom is allergic to stinging insects like that, and when she has been stung before, we have to give her the epi-pen and then take her to the ER. She usually comes home the same day though, and she still has some swelling.

My left eye was swollen completely shut. Missed a baseball game, no way I could of practiced for 2 days.

I was stung in the forehead. It looked like half of a baseball was stuck in my forehead. If it were football season I wouldn't have been able to put on a helmet for a day or so.

on one of my fingers at the Perry Cafeteria the day before a football game when I was in the band. And I STILL played the next day. I just put tape on it and took some benadryl and drank a Dr. Pepper.

I was in the band, but I was still badass.
