That’s not happening in most SEC and B1G schools. Winter/Spring is talking about CFB recruiting and spring practice.

Despite what Kentucky football fans think, football will always play second fiddle unless they pull an Indiana and win a title. This idea of “fans will love and support everything the school does” is wholly naive. Fans usually prefer one or the other.
Idk about any of that. Just be great at both. What does "second fiddle" even mean? More money and resources for one program over another?

I am not interested in who might be a championship winning coach. We need a coach that has done something.
McCasland won a championship in JUCO, and won a CBI and an NIT. He also took TT to an Elite Eight last year.

Sometimes you have to identify the best available up and comer and go get him. Florida didn’t wait on Golden. They recognized his ability.

I doubt Golden has any interest in UK. College sports are different now. He can win just as easy at UF as he can at UK
If he doesn’t take an NBA job he’ll probably end up at Kansas or UNC or maybe even UCLA considering where he’s from. UK certainly wouldn’t hire him because he isn’t sh-t enough.

He isn’t leaving UF for another college job. There is no need too. His next move will be to the NBA.

He would be a solid hire and a massive upgrade over Pope.

Anyone who paid attention to the last hiring cycle shouldn’t be that surprised. It’s why even though I rule out Oats, May and Pearl in my preferred coach’s list, I still had Golden in there.

Only thing better than Golden to me is if it worked out with Pope. Still hoping this ends up being what I expected going into this year.
May will go to IU before anywhere else, that's his Alma mater.

Even though he's a little dweeb, I loved the offensive sets he ran at San Francisco, as soon as Florida hired him, I knew it would only be a matter of time before they started winning big. I watched many of the SF games against Gonzaga late night, he just never had the talent that Gonzaga had.
