I thought you still had to have people declare who was an eligible receiver to the official.
I like the concept though. They have bascially made the QB into a HB, and have done away with tackles and guards. I'm guessing they came up with this at a San Jose Saberkats game?
This is kind of innovation that makes football fun. The last thing I want to see is a bunch of idiots, who could barely get a P.E. degree, get this banned because it would force them to actually think about what kind of defense could shut this down.
Until 1947, you didn't even have ineligible receivers...all you had to do was have 7 men on the line. Imagine what an offense could do if they went back to THOSE rules.</p>
