Serious question. If he was actually 39th best coach, is that good enough for us?

I also only include coaches with at least three years of tenure in the table, and there are 49 of these in the Power 6 conferences.

This makes him 39th out of 49 possibilities, or better than only 21% of the (properly evaluated) BCS conference coaches.

It sounds like only offense is taken into account, so I want his definition of "develop" before I buy in. Did he pull the recruiting rankings from somewhere else? If so, where? If not, how were they computed? And a coach who's ranked 1/35 is ahead of guys who are 3/12, 4/18, 14/8? That's some serious weighting.
