The end of the
article....

Everyone who knows me also
knows how much I loved to party. I loved it too much. I (of course) can
still hold my own in that respect, but as I have gotten older, life and
the past seem to make more and more sense. I was focused on the wrong
things back in the day and I wouldn't listen to anybody. I quit working
after a good sophmore year and I was bitter when my coaches recruited
over me. I didn't deserve to be on the court and it showed in my
performance after the DUI. I never came close to my full potential in
Starkville and I have always wanted to publicly apologize to the entire
Bulldawg Family for it.

I'm sorry for being an immature and
selfish kid, who didn't appreciate the opportunity he was given. These
are things I have wanted to say for a long time and I hope you all
understand why I choose now to do so.

If I could, I'd do things
differently of course; but the reality is those sins shaped the person I
am today. I'm better for it and I accept any past failure as my own.

I
was asked to do this thing weekly and I didn't know what to expect. The
point I'm trying to make is that I have thoroughly enjoyed every second
of it. I try to state the facts as best I can, and these last sixteen
weeks have rejuvenated my love for the game that has been lost for some
time. The shots called in this opinionated column are simply those of a
never was folks, and I would just like to say thanks to those of you who
check it out each week. It means a lot.

Go Dawgs and it's cool
to be back in the family...

However, I think it's best to let sleeping dogs lie sometimes.

I'm willing to bet most Bulldog fans had forgotten and forgiven that stuff anyway. Most of us probably made some poor choices at that age. Part of the process of growing up.

One of the best High School players I have ever seen. It's ashame he got into partying but like Bart said...his mistakesformed him into what he's become today.

I know I don't hold a grudge toward him. Kinda gives you an insight into the lockeroom and the lifestyle these guys are forced to cope with.

You have to have a teammate (or teammates) that help hold everyone in line and make them work hard. Locker rooms and attitudes are fickle.

I was glad to see that bastard leave Winfield.

In one sports year, against my high school, he:

Caught 15 passes and 3 touchdowns against us as a wide receiver
Dropped 40 and 45 on us in the regular season, and 42 more in the district tournament
Hit two home runs to beat us in the playoffs.
