I don't think teams not offering a scholarship had anything to do with bad-mouthing by the AU staff. I think it has to do with being an offensive lineman with a bad back - those don't usually play out too well so teams weren't going to be willing to take the chance unless they end up in Feb 6 with an extra scholly and want to take a chance.
