a smart move. with the serious 25 limit and us short on schollies anyway it definitely impacts us to use one for bo rather than getting him to walk on. it is risky though. if freeze had called his bluff and let bo committ to msu or see if tx would actually take his committment it could have been interesting cause msu is tight too. i do think mullen would like to have gotten wallace contrary to what some think. but for mullen to figure, if ole miss is going to get him they should at least use a sholly would be good move.

Mullen could gamble because he was prepared to sign Wallace- he would have given us some quality insurance as a 3rd QB. But Mullen prefers Liggins- who could be a punishing running QB in our system. Hell of a move by him.

For you or anyone that can make an intelligent comparison, I'm curious: How do Liggins skills now compare to Relf's when he was coming out of high school? As we have all discussed before, even two years or more into Relf's career, I don't think any of us imagined that Mullen would work the miracles with Relf that he did. If Liggins is playing with the same raw potential, could Mullen do the same with Liggins?

you heard #1 and quit listening ...this kids knows he is not #1 on our board ...he doesn't even have an offer

what he is, is our #1 target ...think of it as next man up, if we got room you are the next guy to get an offer
he is not a new qb, we have been on this kids since the summer
Since this past summer, Coach Les Koenning has kept in touch with Grayson High School(Loganville, GA) quarterback Nick Schuessler. via bulldawgjunction.com
