They played well, lost to the number 2 team in the country on theier court, and only lost by five. Many of the same kinds of mistakes cost them the game, but a couple of breaks and they were in position for an upset. With the end of the regular season, I'm pleasantly surprised by how well they've done.

Coach Mack has his finger on the pulse of this team. That meltdown against Duke cost them their confidence for a little bit. The last few games they've finally starting to show they're over it. So much of this game is between the ears at this level. It takes more than just talent. It takes a good coach, good players, and good mental health.

We are close. The post season is a do over. This team has a chance to really surprise the nation and maybe even themselves.

Go CARDS!!!

Confidence and "playing with some swagger" are really important for most teams, Cards definitely included.

We saw the difference earlier in the season against good opponents then the lack of confidence after the Duke game, even with the schedule being back loaded. Hearing CCM say the team is getting their confidence back at this point could be huge for a mini post season run. As Cue said the post season is a whole new season almost.

Hope the Cards put together a nice win streak in the post season.

I'm not reading too much into comments. This team has consistently played up or down to its competition this year. At this point, that's OK if you can get past your tournament opener in the ACC and NCAA. Beyond that, we'll in all likelihood be the underdog in games...

I like it when the Cards are the underdogs. Always have and always will. IMO, it adds another dimension to the challenge of the game.

And brings out the best in a true competitor. JMHO.

Go Cards!
