Interesting development with Kumar Rocker

Rocker flew to New York last week to complete his signing, and apparently the physical raised some red flags with the Mets. The two sides apparently don't agree about the severity of it and are now at a stalemate a few days before the deadline.

Dang that would be crazy if he has serious elbow issues. You would think this would hurt recruiting for schools who pitch kids a whole lot. It doesn’t seem to though. OM and Vandy still get a bunch of talent.

It's crazy, but they do. I know if MSU treated their pitchers like UM or Vandy do, there's no way in hell I'd let my son sign with us if he was a pitcher.

No. Well, that dumbass from Louisville did that very thing (Funkmeister or something), and lost himself a ton of money. No never say never I suppose but if he's got any sense he will go pro now.

So he has some negotiating room. I would think this year gives him the most leverage and he is taking a huge gamble being corbin's rented mule for another year with a questionable elbow. If that arm goes south he will lose a butt load of money. Hard to believe he still has two years. Seems like he's been at Vandy for 5 already.
