Zack Irwinwill be getting his GED and enrolling in Meridian CC. Rebels loose a good one here that really no one expected to ever set foot on UM's campus.

I am pulling for this kid to somehow make it but I have my doubts.

Zach is lazy and doesnt want it badly enough. Zach didn't go to practice the LAST 2 MONTHS of the season and Rea STILL started him Friday night. He just seems like he's the guy that wants to get through on talent alone, but doesn't realize that just doesn't happen. On his grades though, he failed big classes like English 4 among other things. Zach is jusy a lazy ***. He failed classes like Computer Applications and CERAMICS. Yes, you heard that correctly. He failed ceramics.

weeks ago and Rae said no thanks..........then, all the sudden Zach pitches the final game VS O.G............

If all is true, I am really disappointed in Rae letting him play only when he thought the Championship was on the line.

I've seen plenty of people in Doctor and school offices putting out people's personal info in various ways. I always felt this was wrong, and I still feel that way.

I've seen teachers and administrators talk about students in ways that I felt were inappropriate. I've never seen one of them suffer a consequence for it. Not that I reported it, as I'm sure I should have.

I have no idea where this came from, but I think the school board should try to find out, unless the young man and his family have released this information, which is supposedly protected by confidentiality.

Everyone in the class knows who is flunking and who has As. It no secret.
Also with the now ex-principal, the "Jordan rules" were in effect as far as playing when the grades were bad. When key players continually get special favors, don't think the students aren't going to talk and compare notes. It becomes common knowledge.

I'm confident the new principal will stop the nonsence of the old regime.
