Interesting quote from Delmon Robinson about Mullen's offense:

But compared to learning the West Coast offense, Robinson noted the receivers' new routes can be summed up in one word.

"The difference in these routes is that it's simple," said Robinson. "Honestly, it's simple. You just stay simple and make the play. If you run your route right then the ball might not be for you that particular play. You might be running a drag route just to get somebody else open."

This can't be. I thought that it took around 3 years to learn an offense. That's what I had beaten into my head for the last 5 years.

intramural teams and even kids from the sandlot know that you run routes based on combinations, so that someone is wide open.

it's not that hard. (that's what she said.)

...the downside is MSU fans have, over the last 10 years, watched you MSU WR's drop more well-thrown balls than Constanza has posts.

Please take it to the next level of "keeping it simple:" When the ball hits you WR's in the chest, or in the hands, please catch it. There is nothing more simple than that.

Delmon has not been here for ten years. Nor is he responsible for the performance of any other player. I think he's going to be one of our better receivers. Find someone else to criticize. It's that simple.

Being really good at executing 10 - 15 plays is far more effective than being clueless at running 100. Ask Mike Leach.

It's a really simple concept that apparently was overlooked the past five years. I think the old staff just wanted to make things complicated to make themselves feel innovative. </p>

The old staff wanted us to think that it was complicated to hide the fact that they were clueless.

I'm sure he's feeling more comfy w/"simple" and prolly confidient-knowing the coaching staff may actually know what they're talking about
