Agreed, that is not a stat you want to be setting records in.On a positive note though, I felt like we had a chance for a big play every time we fielded a kickoff last season and we had several. I'm not defending Torbush b/c I am glad to see him gone, but I think it was probably an explosive kick return unit, more thanhis defense that led to the record b/c we have had much worse defensive teams than the one last season.
Think about the amount of points given up by some of Sherrill's last teams and Croom's first few seasons. Those should have been record setting years for kickoff returns andmaybe they were. It wouldn't surprise me if we broke our own record.
