Count Ole Miss, and all 6 teams
in the SEC West went 44-4 against all teams outside the division.

Now THAT'S a tough division!

Looking forward to a good game. Probably close and mod-to-high scoring. I'll be there!

P.S. I also saw a 44-1 figure for AU/Ark/Bama/LSU/MSU, but I'm fairly sure it's 40-1.</div>

The SEC record for those five schools against the remaining 7 schools in the SEC is 20-1 (5 teams *(3 OODgames + Ole Miss game)= 20 games + SECCG).

The SECW minus Ole Miss went 15-1 against the East (3 OOC * 5 teams + SECCG = 16 games)

If you count OleMiss, theWest was 21-4 against the East (6 teams *3 OOD games = 24 games + SECCG).

Total combined record of thewest minus Ole Miss was50-11. With Ole Miss, we're 54-19.

he took the 5 teams and combined their records against all other teams on their schedules

vs. ole miss = 5-0
vs. sec east = 14-1
non conference = 20 - 0
sec championship = 1-0

total = 40-1

against anyone but each other.

5 teams * 8 games that are not against the other 4 opponents = 40 games. Those 5 teams won all of them except Bama/SC so that's 39-1. AU over SC in the SECCG makes it 40-1.

Baisically the sec west minus ole miss has a 40-1 combined record if you dont count the games they played against eachother.

And if you add OM to the other 5 in the West, it becomes 39-4 for the whole SEC West division against all others. Still really impressive.

I just quickly figured the 2008 Big12 South (Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Baylor, and Texas A&M), and they went 35-8 against all others (before the bowls).

The 2010 SEC West just has to be the strongest single division in history.

I'm pretty sure that one year -- can't remember which season -- 4 of the 8 teams in Omaha were from the SEC West. Ain't that some ****.
