Thank you for corresponding with us regarding your concerns about Byron De'Vinner and what appears to be our sponsorship of his organization, the Devinner Foundation.

In 2007 & 2008, Mr. De'Vinner contacted our local franchise of Famous Dave's, seeking a food donation for a football camp he was operating for underprivileged athletes. We provided hamburgers and chicken fingers for the camp one day each year. Without our knowledge, apparently Mr. De'Vinner included our logo on his website listing us as a sponsor, possibly as a "thank you" for the donation. Without your notification today, we would still be unaware of its placement on his website. We have provided no further support for the organization.

We have requested Mr. De'Vinner remove our logo, and have also advised the corporate counsel for Famous Dave's of America of its existence so that we can enlist their help for getting this handled.

While we appreciate that all consumers have the opportunity to communicate with their dollars, we respectfully would ask that you reconsider your support of our restaurants.

In an attempt to be good neighbors to the communities in which we serve, we honor more than 100 requests each year from organizations that could use a little help in the way they care for others. Sometimes this is a request for free kids meal certificates, gift cards and donated food. The requests come from schools, churches, and charity organizations. While we cannot honor all, we do as much as we can. Additionally, we have pledged our support to the Make a Wish Foundation for over 11 years, raising approximately $300,000 to grant wishes for children in Middle and East Tennessee who are facing life-threatening illnesses. We are proud that we're able to help others with what we've been blessed with.

Once again, we thank you for your communication and alerting us to the unauthorized logo placement, and the support it suggests. We trust you will clear this matter up for others who are similarly surprised to find our logo on the website. And we hope we will see you in our restaurants once again.

We are not a sponsor for this troubled young man.
We did sell him some t-shirts a few years ago. My take on Byron is that he is trying to make a name for himself and a lot of the media jumps on his tales.
He will say anything. He is mentally deranged.

I was coaching at UAB when he came through. He never played a down.
He turned UAB in to the NCAA for some violations for helping some of the players and not helping him.
I took it that he was placing me on the line because in his mind I was helping some players with textbooks.

I hope you see that I would not sponsor this character.

A bad thing about it is that he gets to VOTE just like you and I.

This is funny it appears to me that UT is back up to the Fulmer days of turning people in. Theyre recruiting Rico McGraw hard but turned him in recently to the SEC for rules violation because he took a picture with Julio Jones. When contacted by compliance it was quickly resolved because we had not registered yet plus I know Julio Jones. I guess I will share this info with hos mother because I had not said anyrhing about it. She hates UT so this willonly help her more.

Not a single UT fan expects Rico McGraw to play at UT. If you could "represent" every single CB prospect in next yr's class then maybe someone might be concerned about your illiterate fatass.

But really I'm surprised you're mad about anyone trying to make sure rules are followed.....that's the only reason you secretly recorded your conversation with that MSU asst right? You just want to make sure everyone's playing fair, I understand.
