...although James Franklin is only 1 year older than Dan, did not realize Dan is still the youngest pup in the SEC. For some reason I thought Freeze, Sumlin and Malzahn were younger than Dan (or at least they act like it since they have more fire in the belly) but this list is interesting and reflects Dan still has a lot to learn:
1. Dan Mullen = 40
2. James Franklin = 41
3. Brett Bielema = 42
3. Will Muschamp = 42
4. Bucky Freeze = 44
5. Butch Jones = 45
6. Mark Stoops = 45
7. Gus Malzahn = 49
8. Kevin Sumlin = 50
9. Mark Richt = 52
10. Les Miles = 59
12. Gary Pinkel = 60
13. Nick Saban = 61
13. Steve Spurrier = 67

Yet typically, most younger/talented people in any business are more likely to change quicker, have better ideas and more creativity than older workers yet lack the experience to put it all together. Dan must be an old soul in a young man's body since it appears he is unwilling to change things offensively or create innovative plays or be able to out-work his competition now year 5; qualities most younger, talented workers have in any business.

Still makes him 20 years older than the average age of the "we demand excellence" crowd.
