As I was driving to work this morning I was listening to the LSU sports talk show. The early host is also the sideline reporter for their radio broadcasts during the game. He was talking about the game and said that Billy Gonzales (former FL and now LSU Passing game coordinator) was helping the LSU defensive staff in recognizing plays. Gonzales was telling the coaches where the ball was going more than half of the time.
That being said, Florida's offense must be much more predictable post Tebow and LSU took advantage. Can we expect Mullen to be able to do the same thing this week? We are a much improved team, and we gave them all they could handle last year. We looked like we knew their playbook last year, and one can only thing we will play better now that they have a depleted O Line and defense. I would think Mullen will be able to recognize their plays better than Billy G.
