Crap.
Sounds like Wilbon has been a bit of a cancer on the team along with getting into some trouble. Might not be a bad thing to part ways. Fresh start might also do him well. If nothing else this staff has proven that they can recruit so I have no doubt that they can find some good replacements. I am to the point that if the players are buying what the coaches are selling then that player can GTFO. Tired of selfish players who put themselves before the team. We need more people who put the team first.
Maybe he is playing Chess
That was my thought. Maybe the kid is being optimistic. I haven't heard anything about him being a cancer. What if he's saying he's trying to move up the depth chart? So many pessimists any time a dude tweets.
Not sure this would necessarily mean anything in October. Some of you guys need to just stop it with analyzing everything these kids do on twitter like it's definitely a coded message.
Unless he's off the team, I see zero reason why he's in any position to make a "next move" on Oct 27 as it pertains to football. His classes won't be done til December, so I don't think he's going anywhere right now.
We can only hope to the sweet baby Jesus that it somehow means he's gonna start on Saturday.

That would be great and I hope you're right. I guess if that's the case he got me when he used the word "gone". But I admit I don't tweet, & find all that to be silly to be honest.
Thanks skerburger, I guess we can just close this thread down now. No need to speculate any more.Gone in this tweet = go-nn, as in "going to be". This isn't the da Vinci code, everything doesn't have a hidden meaning. Could, might not, really no need to even think about it until something actually happens.
This is a ridiculous post!Wait a minute!!! Wilbon has cancer???? This is the first I am hearing of this. No wonder he is not playing!!!! Prayers!
Sounds like you pass along rumors, analyze people you don't know, and jump to conclusions very quickly, all while displaying stupefying certainty.Sounds like Wilbon has been a bit of a cancer on the team along with getting into some trouble. Stop speculating on everything. They said he is a cancer, meaning a singular piece of cancer. He is one big and talented, tumor of cancer.Wait a minute!!! Wilbon has cancer???? This is the first I am hearing of this. No wonder he is not playing!!!! Prayers!
Hanging around with the wrong crowd. Warned and failed to follow the warningCare to elaborate? How a cancer?
Too late. I heard he has cancer. Is he now in remission?Stop speculating on everything. They said he is a cancer, meaning a singular piece of cancer. He is one big and talented, tumor of cancer.
So its okay for you to guess? The FACT is that there is obviously something keeping him off the field after he played early in the season. It doesn't appear to be his talent level and it IS quite clear that there is something else going on with him. We heard early this season from a reliable poster that some of the roster weren't taking care of business off the field and in the classroom and that as long as that was the case they wouldn't play.I'm sick of seeing posters who say things about cancer or off the field issues without actually knowing. You don't know crap, you only speculate and I'm guessing it's because you are hopeful Riley isn't too stupid to notice this kids talent compared to newbys, so hopeful in fact that would would rather smear a kids reputation to protect a coach. If he actually has issues off the field then post exactly what they are and who you heard them from, otherwise stop puking up garbage you read from some other poster or speculating. Fact is this player should be playing and until we hear otherwise this staff is dropping the ball.
(O line sucks too I know).

I'd seen on Huskermax some time ago it was posted that Wilbon burned many bridges with the staff. May nor may not be true, but thought I'd throw it out there. SSO was the originator of that comment I believe, and he has a pretty good track record.
So if it may or may not be true, why say it?
