- University of Oregon offensive coordinator Chip Kelly was scheduled to be interviewed this week by Syracuse. Apparently fearful the Orange would hire him away, the Ducks are moving toward a deal to make him the coach in waiting as a future replacement for Mike Bellotti.

I've heard and read repeatedly that one reason that Petersen isn't leaving Boise State is because he wanted to hold out for the Oregon job. If Kelly is anointed the coach in waiting, does this help our chances of Petersen reconsidering staying in Boise?
