1 first rounder (DT Kenny Clark), 1 second rounder (OLB Myles Jack), 3 more in the 5th and 7th rounds. Remember, Huskers beat UCLA in the bowl game. Adds a little more sweetness to the victory with UCLA having all those draft picks.

It doesn't matter how much overall talent you have if you have a decimated and/or poor quality defensive line against a big ten team

I hope we don't +1. this truth this coming year

Not according to ESPN

http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/schools/_/id/2449/year/2016/ucla

and this site is being updated as players sign free agent deals and he does not have an "updated" status of who he signed with after his name yet...

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...fted-free-agents-following-the-2016-nfl-draft

Sometimes it is a good decision to come out early and other times not... but teams are still signing players and he has a chance.

Makes his situation of signing an agent before the bowl game look worse.

Good theory and Iowa had only one draftee, a seventh rounder at that. So, I guess that makes the Iowa loss even worse than we thought?

Well then again, Ohio State had 12 picks overall, I think 5 or 6 in the 1st round, so how did OSU NOT win another BIG 10 and National Title. Hmmm.
