I will absolutely wager who is right. Name it. Ok, when does the OM "spin" stage end. CJ is practicing. Kailo tweets he's happy at OM. The MSU fan furniture owner was quoted in the paper. The thing about declaring something as spin is you can just keep doing it without any justification at all. If I don't like the answer or it doesn't fit my agenda, I just label it "spin", and keep the balls in the air. I said none of those things were ********. I might have made light of the facts. If those players got paid, good for them. I do know what Jones has, and its secondary at best. I fully expect as we continue to do better and better in recruiting for lots of schools to be unhappy with it. Got to pay to play as they say, and I for one, wouldn't trade our class for not being reported. What a loser, defeatist attitude that would be. Bring it on, all of it. I love it!!!!
Just enlighten us Engie. I know without question these guys have been interviewed and nothing came of it. Everyone hears stories about many of the recruits that OM and State have signed but when it comes right down to it both schools end up getting recruits now that they never could have gotten in the past. I personally think its highly unlikely I will ever see an OM signing class of last years ever again because its not often you luck up and pick up a late qualifier that's brother just happens to turn into the #1 recruit in the nation and with the all star games these days the #1 guy carries some weight when it comes to talking up the school he chooses to attend. Elijah Daniel and Chris Jones recruitment were both very interesting but I will say they were probably interesting with everyone involved so unless your willing to share your info I guess we will just have to wait until the investigation is over. I'm sure the NCAA will need to talk to some interesting people in Houston Ms, Auburn, Oxford, Starkville and maybe even Columbus. This **** could get crazy but I am willing to bet it won't be Ole Miss that gets the worst of any of it.
Basically, you just confirmed that you don't know anything about what Jones' recruitment by your school...which is not surprising... "only secondary stuff" is hilarious...
You are betting that this story is basically done -- nothing was found -- and you get a couple of secondary violations at worst? I bet this investigation is just beginning -- alot of crap is turned up -- and you get hit with at least one major violation resulting in, bare minimum, probation and roughly the same penalty structure we got for Redmond IF everything goes perfectly for you.

How does it help you to keep all of this inside info to yourself? Spill it big guy. Why wouldn't you want the world to know? It's perfectly normal for a staff that's been on the job for 12 months -- with a position coach that has NEVER produced an NFL player -- to swoop in and steal the #1 OT in the country that has been Georgia's priority #1 for 3+ years in which Mark Richt was his lead recruiter out of LAKE CITY, FLORIDA with zero pre-existing ties to the school.
He just fell in love with Oxford -- since everyone knows it's superiority to Athens**. It's perfectly normal for a nationally elite recruit -- with zero ties to a traditionally bottom feeder school -- to pass within 50 miles of schools that have won 7 of the 15 BCS titles on his way to Oxford -- in addition to 200 extra miles in comparison to Miami, Athens, Columbia, Clemson, etc...

engie, or anyone else in the know, what evidence of recruiting violations did Chris Jones bring back from his visits to Ole Miss? I obviously don't have the connections that everyone else has since I don't have any idea what he reported back on, but everyone is talking about this like its gospel, so I would like to know the answer. Help a brother out?
