Not exactly sure what sort of background you mean, but that happened in Oxford at the Texas game last year, and was much discussed on the board at the time, mostly to criticize the Marine for being unprofessional. And I agree with that. The gif is not faked. I don't remember the exact circumstances, but I think it was after one of the many Texas TDs and I think the guy in the Marine uniform was one of the color guard from a Reserve unit in Mississippi. I could easily be wrong ... if I am, I'm sure someone will give you the true story.
