Interim coach?

[preacher_dawg]

If we loose Saturday, and especially look awful, I coud see Joe being gone by Monday. Who's interim?

[Seinfeld]

Not sure, but is it wrong of me to wonder if our offense might actually improve by having a vacancy on the sideline while lining up and running it down the opposition’s throat with Shrader and Hill? Mix in a play action ever 4th or 5th play?

[The Situation]

Shoop. We need to do whatever we can to keep him.

[CochiseCowbell]

What if we play loose and win a tight one?

Greg Knox was smart enough to do that.

[Seinfeld]

That was actually the precise game that ran through my mind, and just think... KT is still roaming the sidelines too

[DawgsOnTheWing]

I like Shoop, but the poor tackling and lack of physicality on D has been very disappointing this year. Hard to see anything right now that screams he should be a priority for retention from JM's staff. No arguing his success last year with top talent, though.........

I think the head coach sets that tone. Would also give Shoop a chance to prove it's not him that causing all this nonsense.

IB names Jackie Sherrill as Interim.

[TBone.sixpack]

Tony Hughes?

[natchezdawg]

Hughes would be my choice.

Especially if it happens before the season is over. I think at that point the name of the game is to stay in touch with recruits..plus it keeps him on payroll (and better yet not on Ole Miss’s payroll) as long as possible and gives the next coach a better chance of keeping him on.

Thank goodness my paycheck doesn't depend on my spelling.

[horshack.sixpack]

Well, when you get into pacifics like that...

[horshack.sixpack]

and it's unlikely you will mix up heaven and hell

[bruiser.sixpack]

Is Greg Knox available to come coach the rest of the season? He could start KT in every game and still redshirt him.

[MarkDallas]

Gary Henderson?

PS: He won't be gone Monday.

[Tall Dawg]

Vic Schaffer...double duties for 1 mth...he COULD handle it and would be great to see him...chew some a$$ on sidelines!

[OrrDawg]

Why Jerry Jones, of course. He is >=Don Muggins.

[thatsbaseball]

^^^THIS would probably save his job ...
