Yeah, that little helmet video with the interlocking came out and everyone wanted to anoint Selmon to God status. Then he pulled this on them. It's like watching a tennis match. He's just throwing everyone crumbs and laughing at them at this point.
You wait until the first home game to do interlocking. Donāt waste it on an 11 AM game against southern.
Or, hear me out....you do it every week because it's the best version of the helmet and the fans want it.
But I hate to disappoint you....we likely aren't doing it for the first home game either.

I say it all the time. I prefer the interlocking and wish it was our only helmet. But it's about 1,403 on the list of things wrong with our football program to me.

It might just be my computer screen or the refleciton on the helment, but that looks like a lighter shade of maroon. Damn near looks crimson.

Key words right here. And people will (rightly) say, muh goat you're obsessed with logo too. And I am, for marketing purposes.
But these interlocking people who want our university logo gone from everything, and worship a helmet logo worn during a time where our football program was literally destroyed, are a certain kind of special. It's just another example of why our football program is 80% stagnant throughout history. Just repeating itself.
I prefer interlocking MSU but donāt hate script State. Itās fine.
I love the interlocking MSU but the radical extremists almost make me not want to wear it. If the helmet logo makes you that upset then you need to log of the internet for a few weeks and go outside.
They even named themselves and part of the reason I dropped GP (along with Steve's lectures, the Steve hero worshiping and I don't really care about recruiting). When I saw they were coming over here I was dreading it but seems they've stayed over "there" for the most part.

I was about to post something similar. I know its just animation, but I dont care what's on the side of our helmets if they aren't even maroon.
I actually like the State Script better on clothing than the interlocking.
Interlocking looks better on helmets though. Way better. We should just throw away all other stickers and order more of the interlocking.
Nobody says it has to be on uniforms. But it should be on ALL athletic buildings and websites. Secondary emblems can be used beyond that.
No it shouldn't. It should be on letterhead, flags, and ****** hats & shirts. We declared a rebranding of athletics and we've got a handful of old men still fighting to keep it from happening. Hell, that original banner was making some folks involved a nice dollar or two before it got made over. It was a greed decision initially more than anything else. I like the script and the interlocking. Put the Scriot on the athletic facilities and the interlocking on the helmet and call it a day. I wouldn't wipe my *** with that streamer of toilet paper on that M.
My oldest daughter got a recruitment letter from state last week. It had the banner state on it. Looked very nice and professional. If it had the interlocking msu or the script state it would have looked terrible.

It's only all or nothing for football. Nobody cares if that M is on official letters etc. but baseball does their own thing, State leaders just keep shitting on football. Pre-shitting with the release of that helmet I guess. They straight up lied about being able to use the interlocking, I mean leaders of the university that enforces an honor code, lying. Anyway
I really would like us to take the field just once with that on the helmets with no warning
