although, like I've said before, I have no idea why they didnt include an MSU interlocking logo and a "bulldogs" wordmark in their new logo package. I'll come up with something (for shoots and googles).

SS seems pretty smart when it comes to marketing. It would be ignorant to use another logo just 4 years into the new one. I can buy the fact the game will be a "white out" in recognition of the Snow Bowl, but no way we use different iconography.<div>I'm one of the few who thinks is dumb we even has as many logos as we do. I know it'ssacrilegiousto talk bad about the beloved baseball logo, but I wish we used the new M-State across the board.</div><div>

but that **** looks like it came straight out of the Affliction catalog.

I do think the actual graphic design of the helmet is cool but if we wore that - horrible.

Can we really stop saying that the Nike Logo is owned by Nike and thus we can't use it? For goodness sakes, Nike can't own all MSU interlocking logos. What is to keep someone on this board from designing a "similar" logo and calling it our own. Heck we even used a similar logo in the 80's and early Sherrill years. The lack of will power to create a similar logo that isn't owned by Nike is mind boggling.

From this point forward, I am stating that the Nike excuse can no longer be used to explain why we don't have an interlocking MSU logo on our helmets.

Is the interlocking NIKE logo the same one as the one worn by Jackie's and Rockey's teams in the 80's and early 90's or is that the MSJ logo?

And does NIKE own the MSJ logo?

One wasn't included in the NUMEROUS logos we paid top money for by an established artist and firm. Their resume includes boise st, SEC 75th anniversary, a Super Bowl logo,etc... But I seriously can't, for the life of me, figure out why they didn't request a new MSU(interlocking) logo.
