If it’s true that the investigations purpose is to find something to use so Flood can be fired for cause saving RU from paying the buyout money if he was fired because of performance, here’s a idea:
Suspend Flood with pay until investigation is over and if for cause can be used, use it to terminate Kyle.
If not enough found to justify a for cause firing, just let Flood go paying the buyout.
But while Kyle's on paid suspension, try and negotiate buyout settlement before the investigation is completed.
Norris Wilson can be named interim HC and be given every consideration to come back in 2016 based on how Rutgers preforms under him the last 3 games.

I cannot claim this is my idea, saw someone post this on another site and agree it might be a good idea. I just added negotiate buyout and changed the way Norris would be hired for 2016.
