Apparently most disagree, but I concur. Many threads are an OT mess. As a result I've resorted to only checking in once a day. I don't even read the threads anymore, just click on the most recent unread post to see if it's relevant and worth reading the rest. Hopefully if anything relevant happens a new thread will be started and not get buried alongside some OT sh*t.
If Iowa's board is premium, it's like tipping the guy to pee in a urinal.

Whatās needed is a filter-on / filter-off switch. A designated inspector (or team thereof) should classify each post into two or three categories, and every reader can filter his feed. Possible categories might include: āon topicā, āoff topic and otherwise harmlessā, and āCorby-like nails on chalkboardā.

From the Iowa board, supposedly a 150% increase in season ticket prices for a questionable product.

We got back last week from our 25th anniversary trip to Cape Breton NS. The beautiful cooler weather was one of the many hard things to leave behind!
Unlike my approach on the Iowa forums in the past, I feel like just a guest on this new board and try not to post so much. It's just feels different than what I was used to with the old board. Doesn't help that this transition happened in the off season.

I think this guy has been reading those of us who realized that the Brands' adoption of "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger" is a recipe for stagnation and injury.
On the Iowa board you need to be logged into on3 or else it will give you a message it is a premium site and you can't read anything.
Our board is not like that and you can still read content while not logged in. Not sure why they are different?
