He’s been training there a bunch for over a year. Made a huge jump when he started going out there. Indirectly a major reason we lost Bassett.
Yea. I know. But the problem is Iowa guys mostly get worse when they get to college. And programs like OK State and Penn State get better. So that’s a big problem.

I don't see a way where ayala wins that, but going from a takedown and 4 points for Forrest to 3 for Drake and an escape is quite a different match.
Well now that I have seen how much reaction time this ref is giving to Block’s opponent it was a good no challenge because this guy is going to be real slow.

Our guys have no experience in the room wrestling anyone like this. Coach they are actually trying to pin us. We don't practice that. Lol
Looking for scoring opportunities, looking for pins, looking to win at every chance. That’s the old Iowa style that is now being used against us. The new Iowa style is keep it close and pray the other guy makes a mistake initiating offense.

That whole chain would’ve ended up the same way even if Drake got the three. It was still gonna end up in a reversal in the cradle.

Haters gonna complain about Peterson getting pinnedby Vega, but Peterson was wrestling a good match and got caught being aggressive. Happens to the best of them.
He didn't get caught. Vega was waiting for him to shoot in like that. We have no idea what do to when opponents have skills like Jax and Vega.

Not if they challenged it right? They would've awarded the takedown to Drake and would that not have been it? Or would they have included the cradle and NF? I thought it would've reversed the situation

What the hell has happened to Ayala? I know some of these younger guys are studs, but damn
I think Jax is the best wrestler in that whole bunch of studs. I think he is better than Spencer was at that age. He has a motor like ADS with a much higher skill level and mat presence. It sucks what he did to Drake who I have really liked thru the years.

Yeah…he “caught” him in a position that allowed him to throw the cradle on. He tried in the earlier scramble as well, but Peterson was able to get away. Like I said, that sucked, but at least KP went onto the mat with an effort to win. Not sure we can say that at 125 or 133
Saying he got "caught" makes it sound like a cheap move. It was not. Okie wrestlers are not robots!

He’s a generational talent of which there are more and more of them and we aren’t landing any of them. It hurts when they wrestle against us and it will hurt when they eventually coach against us.
