So, you believe he may be transferring? I sure don't see him developing some sort of new dynamic offensive skills in Iowa City.
My guess is eventually he develops the HEW attitude that sets in as talented guys realize they aren't winning a national title while wearing the black Hawk singlet.

Ben Askren had a double lung transplant 6 months ago and is still more aggressive and in better shape than any Iowa wrestler on the roster.

I thought he'd blow it for sure, but it was a great chance for a lunger.
I also thought the match would be closer than that, and that the pressure would get to the ISU staff.
I hope when we wrestle Lehigh next week we can be the best in our state.
I’m going to try to get to CKLV for one day next weekend. If I see any ISU coaches standing around, I’m going to make sure to tell them congratulations.

IIRC last year in the Little Rock dual, Williams came out like a house of fire and had Van Ness in some trouble after 1. He then gassed during the coin flip, and Shayne pinned him in the 2nd.
Recalling people saying at the time that this was Williams' MO, and he had the gas tank of a skateboard. He probably had no idea where he was at the end of the Zerban match when he quit.
