HS needs to pick her game up. So many missed FTs and at least a few plays in the second half that were very lazy on her part. She could've gotten to that loose ball after Kylie F. blocked it but instead just watched it go out of bounds. Hannah's an amazing player but she's showing some very lazy tendencies out there.

I think that she is an athlete playing basketball.

Iowa 2 FTs. Indiana hits a 3 as the clock expired. There are 0.4 seconds left and Hawks up 3.

The box score may not show it, but to me Kylie was the MVP of this game. Her defensive intensity was contagious and she shut down Indiana’s big scorer in the second half. Game changing performance.

I sure hope they never have a half of basketball as bad as that first half ever again.

Had to run to the grocery store so I missed a lot of the game but nice to see we played some defense in Q3

back to back ugly wins. Better than loses!

need to get back to playing Iowa basketball soon. Competition gets a lot harder.

Game ball to Feuerbach no doubt. Kylie absolutely changed the game around. I specifically paid attention to KF on Shay to start the 2nd half - she forced three consecutive bad shot misses by Shay in the first two minutes and Iowa was off to the races. Feurbach hounded her like a hungry dog on a meat bone…shut her down.

Without Feurbach they 100% lose and probably by double digits.

Are some of the players still sick/under-the-weather? Notably, Heiden only played 28 minutes and was never in foul trouble. The starters all played 28-33 minutes, plus 21 Feuerbach and 17 Houston, 6 Deal, 3 Hays.

If anyone here thinks our coach has lost her team, please watch Kylie F. Play her butt off and shut down #10 in 2nd half, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say this was a coaching adjustment. Might be the one that keyed the win. One of the best efforts I’ve seen in a while.

I really think Houston will become what we all wanted Hannah to become. I know she’s a couple inches shorter, but she plays like a small forward, and is better in the paint and around the rim. She has the touch that Hannah doesn’t.
That's a conundrum with Steulke late in games...good rebounder but terrible at FT line, so you can't have her on the floor.
If she doesn't figure it out by now, she never will.

Stremlow is usually a very reliable number 2 with the ball besides Chit Chat. She just had a bad game the other night. However, when you then have Heiden, Stuelke and McCabe in the game as the other 3 they basically can't handle the ball. While McCabe has had a nice season she really still can't put the ball on the floor as the 3rd guard which really puts pressure on the other 2 guards.

Yea, I am somewhat lost as to what is going on in practice and training. BLOCK was my "shinning light" so far this year. He was what I could point to and say, " OK the coaches are getting it done with this kid so there is hope!" Now I am guessing he is sick because he just didn't look himself as match went on and that is out of the normal!!!

For B1G Ben, people do not want to hear what I see and believe me, I have spent TONS of years in the GYM!!!! I looked at him as a HS recruit and said he will need to add a LOT of MUSCLE!!! As a kid who now wants to play TWOOO sports and I guess maybe be a PRO Football player? You are then looking at PEDs and that is the fact!!!

Regardless, he should be 275 RIGHT NOW and he actually looks like he is losing weight and size as season is going forward!?!?!? There are a TON of things to talk about especially with this "new" facility!!! What did they actually build that brings STATE of the ART to this effort???? I honestly have not seen ONE thing that I would point to and say, "OK that is something NO ONE ELSE HAS!!!!"

It is somewhat MIND BOGGLIN to think in this day an age that you would not have a TEAM of people, experts in different areas who would plan, developed, and do the build!!!

That's a conundrum with Steulke late in games...good rebounder but terrible at FT line, so you can't have her on the floor.

No hands, no touch, no fluid body rhythm, no synchronized lower- upper body action(s). Frequently 'throws' the ball at the glass, hoping for good ricochet. Inversely, see Grace Sullivan (Northwestern), 28 points vs Iowa.
