Alvaro's mom went back to Spain.

Alvaro's brother Ignacio (‘Nacho’) is in Houston for the Sweet 16.

From a beat reporter: Last time Nacho was in the states to watch Alvaro, he put up a season-high 20 points.

Could be worse, you could be a Pirates fan like Ol' Doodle and have to watch Skenes give up 5 and not even make it out of the first inning against the Mets.

And just like that, the Bucs are once again officially eliminated from the playoff race.

I hope he's still not attempting his "edgy" hipster sports talk guy thing. That'd be sad for a 60-something. Maybe Everett already knocked that plum outta him way back when.
